Membership
ACARC seeks to:
- encourage the study of and interest in literacy
- serve as a support and networking organization for educators
- sponsor professional development conferences and meetings for educators
Members receive:
- networking opportunities
- meeting and program announcements by mail and email
- free ACARC sponsored events (non-members pay $10 for each ACARC event attended)
- New York State Reading Association membership
- NYSRA newsletters and annual journal and discounted registration for the NYSRA annual conference
